i wanted to share an encouraging story about awareness... a friend of mine from church is adopting a girl from uganda and just went to meet her for the first time. the mother is giving her up for adoption because she is dying of AIDS. but the billboards and posters and everything worked because she was tested and received good counsel pre-natally and help after delivery. while God had led my friend's family to be open to adopting a child with HIV, He also intervened in this infant's life through reaching her mother. i pray that more and more people in South Africa will become aware as this mother was.
