Plea for Prayer

Dear Friends,
In three days Mercy Ships will be hosting another screening on Saturday, the 26th of May.
Can I please ask you to fall to your knees in prayer to our Father over this day? I can't help but feel like a soldier who is getting ready for war...We NEED prayer coverage as our battle is not against flesh and blood, but the powers of darkness. The Evil One does not want us to demonstrate the love of God through our surgeries.
Please pray for peace among the crowd; safety and protection over the people and our staff; and that we can see as many as possible.
Thank you,
h & t

Screening day: March 7th

We had our plans. But the Evil One had his. We had our hopes. And they had their dreams.

Please read about the tragic events that unfolded that day here.

Absolute desperation. We are grieving. They are searching. Please pray we can find the ones who desperately need our services.

There. Are. No. Words.

it came.

After 4.5 months of intense preparation, and two weeks later than its original due date, the ship did come. Yes, eventually. February 27th. Oh happy day!

I can't tell you how much relief, excitement, and anticipation I felt watching the big white ship come sailing into port that day. How moving it was to be on the other side of the dock this time too; to welcome and receive it. I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride too. All the work and time spent to get the ship here. And we were a part of it. :)

Walking up that gangway again and stepping onto the ship felt like coming home in a way. Our humble cabin has never looked so good. And we are reunited with our ship family and friends.

Life is good. Real good.

Its good to be back.
